The South Salt Lake Valley Kiwanis does a number of different service projects and fundraisers. Our most recent was A Gift of Heart - An Evening of Hope. This was held to support the Southern Sudan Humanitarian Project.  Proceeds went to providing new water wells and the feeding and education of the orphans of the Southern Sudan. We plan to make this an annual event.

South Salt Lake Valley Kiwanis also does diaper drives that benefit the Copperview Community Center. We receive donations of diapers and baby supplies from local supermarkets and their customers by spending a saturday afternoon in front of the store soliciting patrons for extra baby items.

We hold a yearly Concert in the Park starring the band "Stark Raven". This is held in Draper Historical Park in the summer. Proceeds from this event are shared with our Key Club of Alta High School.

We helped the Midvale Club with their 5K Fundraiser on April 10, 2010.  The run started at 8:30am at Gardner village. 

On April 24th, the South Salt Lake Kiwanis Club sold

concessions at Draper Earth Day celebrations at Draper Park.
